Terry's obituary

In loving memory of our father, Terry Leighton, who passed away on November 03, 2022. Terry was a fun loving, vodka drinking smartass. But he was also a devoted father, loving grandfather, a brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

One of the kindest souls on this planet, our father was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage.

Early in life, our father learned the importance of hard work and he instilled that same work ethic in us. He was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. He was a man of his word and he taught us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right.

Our father was a true role model who we will always look up to.

Terry worked for many years for Miller Lite Distributer and then became a self made contractor, building beautiful homes for other families as well as his own family. Terry loved his 2nd home on the Lake of Ozarks were he was able to fully retire briefly.

Celebration of life will be held at Blue Grass Legion Hall on November 18, 2022 at [time]. Father, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
