Terry Micheal Hutchison, loving husband to Terri and father of five, left his temporary home in Punta Gorda Florida for his eternal home in Heaven on May 5 , 2024 at the age of 77.  His battle with serious medical issues in recent days showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite the discomfort, Terry came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. He is survived by his sons Michael and his wife Lee, Patrick and his wife Lilly, Scott and his wife Taryn, and Joe, and daughter Cory, his grandchildren Bella, Haley, Ashton, London, Cambria, Catherine, Michael Jr., and Camila; he is also survived by his brothers Scott and A.C.

As the eldest of three children, Terry was no stranger to familial responsibility. He was a devout and beloved son to his mother Patricia and provided constant support for her in her lifelong battle with mental illness. Circumstances called for Terry to occupy both the role of paternal guide and best friend to his two brothers Scott and Aubry. A call to action he never answered begrudgingly and performed with immeasurable grace and dignity. A family man through and through Terry’s life was defined by his service to those he loved.

Terry met the love of his life, also named Terri, while dining at one of his favorite oceanside bistro. It was love at first sight. Terry and Terri were inseparable, forming a bond that was truly a powerful engine for good. T&T were undoubtedly a dynamite couple.

Terry will be honored in a beach-side celebration of life on May 18, 2024 from 5 – 8 pm. Since Terry took particular joy in watching FSU, his favorite college football team play, the theme of the celebration will be college football.
