Terry "Bubba" Huston Sr., affectionately known as Bubba but preferring Terry, passed away on July 25, 2024. Born on July 29, 1956, Terry's life was a testament to love, forgiveness, and family.

He is survived by his beloved wife Irene Huston and their four children: Terry Huston Jr., Jeremy Huston, Joshua Huston, and Tami Huston. Terry's legacy thrives through his children, and in the lives of his  five grandchildren: Lily Huston, Charlie Huston, Aly Huston, Terry James Huston, and Joshua Steven Huston. Terry also leaves behind his brother, Jerry Huston, his sister Tammy Jan Palmer, and his sister-in-law Christine Huston. Adding to the loving family are his daughters-in-law Kelly Huston, Rebekah Huston, and Denise Nothdurft. Terry's parents, Eula VenClara Huston and Hugh Lawson Huston, predeceased him.

Among Terry's favorite things in life were the sizzle and taste of pork barbecue, the fizz of an ice-cold Coca-Cola, the humor in Young Sheldon, the mystique of The Maltese Falcon, the heroism in Apollo 13, and the whimsy of Beetlejuice. He loved nothing more than the roar and adrenaline of NASCAR and Formula One racing, and found tranquility in Tybee Island, GA, one of his favorite vacation spots. Terry had a fondness for the color blue, perhaps reflecting his personality best described as cool, kind, and generous.

Described as flirty and deeply in love with people, Terry's lessons on how to love unconditionally and how to forgive will continue to resonate with all who knew him. His legacy includes his four loving children, and his greatest accomplishments were indeed TJ, Jeremy, Josh and Tami. He leaves a void in the lives of those he touched, but his memory will live forever in our hearts and minds.
