Dear Jim and Aaroe Family,

Our kids grew up together and we were neighbors for over 30yrs. This may be well over due but I still want to express my Heartfelt Sympathy to you all. Terry was always kind and we always had great conversations. May you rest in Peace my friend! Love to you all!

Met Terry when I applied for a position at SMVH.  Once we discovered we both quilted, our kinship was cemented!  I miss the craft fairs we shared, especially the one she and Jim so gracefully opened their house to accommodate.  I miss you too Wanda and Sherri.  I have moved to Oklahoma - just in time for Covid.  We are just starting to open up again.  Craft fairs will not be the same without all of you, but in memory I will do my best.  Still cannot figure out how to make the darling snowmen!!

Happy heavenly birthday Terry. Have so many great memories with you and our kids. Miss you friend
Terry, was a true example of calmness and leadership, as a boss.
As a friend, she displayed warmth, love and humor. I will miss her dearly.
In response to "What did you learn from Terry?"
I am so saddened to hear of Terry’s passing. She was my AHN in the Heart Center at SVMH and we went to high school together for a brief time. My deepest condolences to the Aaroe Family, Wanda and Sherry. May you find strength each other and May the good Lord give you the healing peace in your hearts that only He can provide. Love and prayers, Grace Self

I am so very sorry for your loss. I was privileged to have met Terry just a very few years ago through our passion for quilting and sewing. I learned from her and held classes where she taught many others to build beautiful products via sewing. Kind, gracious, talented, caring, and humorous best describe Terry during my short time of being in my life. I and her students at Country Pines Quilts Shop will miss her deeply and will treasure the time that we spent together with her quilting and making bags. She was bag and quilt maker extraordinaire.
I am so saddened by Terry's passing. She was always so kind. I knew her from SVMH. She made hair coverings for all the cath lab nurses. When we had a head shaving party for one of our colleagues, she gave all the women who shaved their heads one of her caps. I still have mine, and wear it again now during covid. May God comfort her family.
Still wrapping my heart around this. I have the best memories to hold and share. I'm pretty sure she "yelled" at me multiple times for having the nerve to knock on the front door when I came over instead of just walking in. I remember coming out of high school play and choir practice for a ride home, her just crafting away, making a pile of scarves in the car while she waited. Getting half birthday gifts from her into my twenties. She let four crazy high school girls into her sewing room to make bloomers--and then was willingly around to watch us wear them in public on a choir trip. Stacks of amazing jam and butters. Patching up her quilts I owned after my fur babies made holes in them. Terry always seemed to know what I was up to even when we talked so infrequently in the last few years, and I never doubted she kept track of all "her kids" like that; now I'll never know how she managed her secret spy network on all of us across the whole nation. Forever loved, and forever will she be missed.
Jim and Family,
Frank and I were brokenhearted to learn of Terry's passing. We remember meeting her when she was a young 17 years old and you brought her to our wedding.....a beautiful blonde, blue-eyed girl. who wanted to be a nurse. We shared many memories over the years with you both, and she was just as beautiful the last time we saw her before you two moved up north. She will forever be a part of our memories as I still have the Christmas stockings she made for us back in 1981.
You and the kids will be in our hearts and prayers as you travel through these painful waters. God Bless you all,
Frank & Cindy Shean
This news saddens my soul. I am sorry to say that life, time and miles have distanced our interaction in life, but never did it take from the place in my heart touched by this beautiful Angel. Terry was one of my sweetest friends in high school. She balanced the crazy we all knew. It seemed that she always knew where her heart and soul would take her in life. Not only was Terry the most beautiful blue eyed girl in school. She also had the biggest most compassionate heart ❤️ too. I will miss my beautiful friend. These are words she once shared with me..

Keep your troubles way behind you
Stay where happy things can find you 🦋

Love and comfort to You all
I am so saddened to hear of Terry’s passing. My deepest condolences to Jim and her entire family. I’m grateful for the job I have, thanks to Terry. We reconnected once she moved to Almanor, as I would visit her when visiting my family up there. She was a very kind, talented, and loving person, who will be missed by many. Rest In Peace my friend. ❤️
Sad to read about your loss. I met her at the San Jose ASG retreats. I enjoyed listening to her laughter and joy of sharing her sewing skills with family and The attendees at the retreat. Her Medical knowledge always impressed me (I’m a retired RN) she gave so much and is missed.

My heart is with Terry’s family. She hired me into the heart center and we quickly became friends. We shared the same hobbies - sewing, quilting and craft shows. I am very sad but will cherish my memories of Terry and her family. 😢
