Terri's obituary
In Loving Memory of Terri Elaine Miller
May 14, 1956 – April 27, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share that the beautiful and beloved Terri Miller, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 27th, in Merced, California, due to complications following a short but fierce battle with lung cancer. She was wrapped in love with her daughters by her side in her final moments.
Terri was born on May 14, 1956, in Montrose, Colorado, to her late parents, Duane and Beverly Miller. She was a proud Colorado native who later made California her home where she raised her two daughters before eventually returning to Colorado for two decades to care for her parents. She ultimately came back to California after their passing to be closer to her children and grandchildren—the greatest joys of her life.
Terri was a beacon of warmth, strength, light, and love. She spent over 20 years as a massage therapist and holistic health practitioner—healing others with her hands and her heart. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her profession as she was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Terri lived life to the fullest, always seeking adventure and fun! A free spirit, riding her Harley was one of her first great passions. Her latest passion since returning to California was supporting her grandkids in all of their activities. Whether cheering on from the stands at a sporting event, or singing along at a recital, she was always fully present; filled with love and pride. When she wasn’t supporting her grandkids, you would likely find her at a local music festival or supporting local businesses and musicians at live music events, one of her favorite things to do. She also had dreams of seeing the world—something we’ll now do for her, carrying her with us every step of the way.
Terri leaves behind her daughters Amanda Marchini (husband Rick, and their children Hannah & Mila) and Belinda Nunes (wife Tamara, and their children Isabella, Noah & Amelia), her younger brother Larry Miller (wife Christy), and her lifelong friend and former husband, Mark Holman.
We will be celebrating her life on what would have been her 69th birthday—Wednesday, May 14th—with local gatherings in both California and Colorado.
