We mournfully announce the passing of Teresa M. Ostrander], 56, of [Herkimer NY]. Teresa passed away on [January 31,2022], after a hard fought battle with [Multiple Sclerosis].

Teresa was born to Richard Ostrander & Diane Harvey Ostrander] on [January 9,1966]. Teresa] was a force to be reckoned with from the get go, graduating from JFK HS North Utica in 1984 . She was very active in Sports at JFK including Field Hockey, Volleyball & Softball where she received several honors. Teresa received a NYS Regents scholarship and attended NYS College at Geneseo .

After College Teresa worked Security at Xerox in Rochester and later for The Red Cross.

Teresa battled MS for over 25 years. The last 14 years she was a resident of Valley Health Services in Herkimer.

Teresa leaves her Dad Richard "Ody" Ostrander & his wife Mick Ostrander Litchfield NY...Her Mom Diane and her partner Ed Schultz of North Utica.......also her sisters Kerry Schmidt and husband Bill Schmidt of Whitesboro, her sister Sharon Ostrander of Germantown MD. and brother Jim Ostrander of North Utica.
She also leaves her two nephews Jeff Schmidt and his wife Jess in Hawaii and Steven Schmidt in North Carolina

She also is survived by several Aunts and uncles and cousins
