It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Underwood, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. Born on May 25, 1964, Teresa left us on December 31, 2024, leaving a void in the hearts of many. Her love for her family was unwavering, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Teresa is survived by her daughters, Britney West and Tara Miller, who were a constant source of love and pride to her. Teresa's maternal love extended to her grandchildren - Kaylee Kornegay, Alexis Austin, Levi Duncan, Brendan Miller, Lennon Kornegay, AJ Decola, Eddison West, and Natalee West. Each of her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and her love for them was limitless.

Teresa's memory will also be cherished by her mother, Frances Abbott, and her brother, Kenneth Abbott. The bond they shared was unique and strengthened by both laughter and tears throughout the years. Despite the sorrowful departure of her father, Robert Abbott, and her brother, Edward Abbott, Teresa held them close to her heart and cherished their memories.

Teresa was preceded in death by her son, Jason Underwood, who was undoubtedly waiting to welcome her with open arms. The bond they shared remains unbroken, and we find comfort in knowing that they are together once more.
