Nurse Teresa, Nurse Teresa! You were a jewel and a friend. You were my school nurse at several schools where I served as an administrator in Montgomery Public Schools, and every day you made my day with your beautiful smile, encouraging words, and your assistance. You were a bundle of love, and I will forever carry you in my heart, my friend. You were a friend to all no big I’s and little you’s. You were a joy to love and know. Rest well for now, for I will see you in that great getting-up morning! Love you, Linda B. Fuqua.

We remained good friends down through the years. We had good times after school as well. We shared the good. the bad, the ups @ downs . I will cherish our last conversation on December 25th, 2024. I had much love for her. Even though I wasn’t in person but my prayers were . Sleep on Lady T, You have been crowned.

I tried to cut out Tab holding a “birdie” over Teresa’s head😂

Teresa and I have been best friends, since 4th grade.  She used to walk past my house on her way home from school.  She is the closest I have ever had to a sister, and I cannot express how much I will truly miss her!

I pray for her family, because I know she was the glue that kept everything together. I am grateful for the blessing I received in knowing her all these years.  I know she will be glad to be reunited with her mom, because if anyone knew Diane, they know life on earth was not the same when she left - Teresa lived up to her mom’s expectations and then some - love you my friend, I pray for John, Larry, Jimmy and the kids -

We are so sorry for your loss, your family is in our thoughts and prayers!

Teresa and I met in nursing school and we’ve been great friends ever since. Even though the Army moved me all over the place, we stayed in touch and could always just pick right back up. Her obituary was perfectly written. She touched so many lives with her compassion, wit, and spunk. We recently shared a lovely visit at her home in Lillian and laughed and giggled over some of the fun times we’ve shared. I’m forever grateful for our friendship. My heart is broken, but I’m glad that she isn’t suffering anymore. Sending  love, hugs and prayers to her family and everyone touched by her loss.
Alaina, seeing this was eye opening. It brought back memories of childhood days and sleepovers/birthday parties at your house!Your mom always welcomed us and treated us as her own! I’m glad for the words of wisdom about the Cologuard that were passed on, for I am a nurse currently and the provider I work with recommends it often. The reason I went into nursing was due to my grandmothers being diagnosed too late with breast cancer, so that really spoke to me! I will definitely tell her story and honor her wishes in hopes to save others! Praying for you all during this time

We were chatting on the phone one morning when she was driving Ty to ACA, running late as usual. They pull in to drop him off and she starts yelling at him. “You don’t have on SHOES?  How the h*#l do you forget your shoes!!!” So she leaves him at ACA while she drives back to the southern end of the county to get him some footwear. Mad as an old wet hen. It’s a miracle he survived that!  One of the funniest people I’ve ever met!!

Teresa and I worked together at Carver Sr. High school.  She was one of the nurses at the school.  Teresa was also my prayer partner 🙏🏽.  Always had such a beautiful smile!  Before I retired, I was making crocheted items.  Do I asked her for her colors, and what type of shawl would she like?  She told me, and once it was done, she said Jackie I love It!   And she started posing in!  Rest in peace my sweet Friend 🙏🏽🫶🏽💕
