Terri's obituary
Teresa (Terri) Ince, 70, passed away November 25, 2024 in the home of her oldest daughter, Michelle.
Terri was born on November 2, 1954 in Denton , Texas to Mercer Lenore Henderson Jr and Hellon Mae Reece. When she was a young age, Terri’s family moved to California where she grew up and graduated from Channel Islands High School in 1972.
After High School, she moved out on her own and developed an interest in the musical talent of the Osmond Brothers. She was fortunate enough to meet them in person with her friends and it was because of this encounter that she was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She soon realized that this was the church she belonged to and was baptized on May 26, 1973.
She married her first husband in 1977, in LA. Shortly after, they moved to Utah, where she gave birth to her 3 children. After her divorce, she went to nursing school and obtained her nursing degree. She moved with her children back to Texas, and raised them as a single mother working as a full time nurse.
Terri is survived by her three children, daughters Michelle (Michael) Callaway, Rachael (Daniel) Allred and son David (Amber) Winward; her ten grandchildren; Atreyu, Kelsier, and Matrim Callaway; Sara, Gwyndolyn, Cayden and Westley Allred; Xander, Marceline, and Killian Winward; Her brother Tom (Laura) Henderson; nephew Thomas Henderson; and many friends and family.
Terri loved animals, and one of her favorite pastimes was walking her dogs around the Lake near her house. She enjoyed music and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a love of other cultures, a passion that she had passed on to her children.
Funeral services are scheduled for December 28th, at 1pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 8801 Martop Rd, Aubrey, Tx 76227.
Graveside service will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Denton, Tx
