Our family recently learned of Mrs. Bonner’s passing. She was my son’s 3rd grade teacher, she was so kind and attentive to all her students. She recognized my son needed a little extra help with his reading and connected with me on reading resources for him.  My son just shared a story with me that she paid for his lunch a couple of times because I had forgotten to reload his lunch card. I didn’t know that til recently. She made such a big impact and we are all better for knowing her ❤️
We are so sorry for your loss. I just heard about her passing. She was my daughter's 5th grade teacher at Daves. She was an amazing soul who taught beautiful moral values to the students.  She was sweet and kind. Rest in Peace Teresa
I wanted to share the following on Teresa Bonner's Birthday.........Teresa Bonner was the most wonderful and caring person. Though I try to remain positive I still struggle with the loss. Your pain was just too much and you suffered so deeply. I struggle not just with the loss, but also knowing how much you suffered. My love and respect for you remains so great. I did everything in my power to be there for you and support whatever you needed. As you did for me and your children, I will continue to dig deep and remain strong for our family. Thanks to all of you who had the courage to reach out and offer your support. Just like Teresa had done for so many as a wife, mother, teacher, and friend to so many.

Teresa Bonner was the love of my life.  It has been a long and difficult journey trying to  deal with and make sense of her passing.   She was really such an amazing person.  So kind and blessed with this special way of connecting and really understanding people that would always surprise and amaze me.  I will forever be so grateful for all the amazing experiences, adventures, and memories she shared with myself, our children, extended family, and so many others as a teacher.  Teresa's influence will stay with me forever.

I really want to thank all the wonderful people who have been so kind and supportive.  I hope to some day find a way to thank all of you in a way that truly shows how much you have all meant to myself and our kids.  Your support has been a life line for us.  Thank you also for creating this wonderful memorial site.

On January 25th will be Teresa Bonner's birthday.  Teresa was such a wonderful and special person.  Her amazing and positive influence and impact on so many will never be forgotten!

I have not seen Terri for many years, but she is fresh in my memory.  May you rest in peace.
She was my favorite elementary school teacher. Rest in peace Mrs. Bonner.
Teresa and I were roommates on business meetings when we both worked for J&J. She was the best and I am shocked to hear of her death. I had a dream about her last night and thought I better try to call her only to find out her number was disconnected. any information you could share with me would be appreciated.
I was so very sad and shocked to learn yesterday of Teresa’s recent passing. I am one of those most lucky parents whose child (now 23) had the amazingly good fortune to have Mrs. Bonner as his 3rd grade teacher. What an incredible force she was in the classroom; I remember being taken aback by her presence and what a superstar teacher she was. Teresa helped my son’s math skills take off, something he has benefitted from to this day. She was always kind, warm and upbeat towards her students and their parents alike. My heart goes out to all of Teresa’s family and friends.
Mrs.Bonner was a great teacher and I learned a lot form 3 to 5 grade
Shared a heart Red heart

I am so sad that Teresa is no longer with her family and friends. I have lots of fun memories with her teaching at Daves Avenue but my best memories are the hundreds of miles we walked together training for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer 2 years in a row. These are times I will treasure forever. Be at peace my friend.

Teresa was welcoming to me when I joined the teaching staff and offered warm advice as I welcomed my second child. I am thankful for her generosity. Much love to her family.

I was saddened when I heard the news of Teresa's passing. I still cannot quite wrap my head and heart around it.

She was an energetic and generous educator and coworker. I am always so thankful for her sweetness when my daughter’s baby shower came - the way she was so excited and all the tips and tricks she had to share. She made such an impact with her thoughtful ideas for how we could always improve as staff, educators, and humans.

I wish her and her family peace, comfort, and love at this time and always. 💗

The world lost a beautiful person and I offer my heartfelt condolences to her family.

Teresa was an inspiration in her commitment to her beloved husband, Steve, and family. She spoke of them daily with love and joy.

It was a blessing and gift to share in Teresa's professional life.  She was a gifted educator who cared deeply for her students and worked tirelessly to know each of them on a personal level and provide robust, meaningful, and engaging learning experiences.  While our time together was short at Blossom Hill, she made a big impact and was adored by her students, families, and colleagues.  I will miss her and am grateful for sharing in her wisdom and love for life-long learning.

My condolences to Teresa's family and friends.  Teresa taught third grade with me for a few years at Daves Ave. School.  When I retired she gave me a lovely little angel carved from wood. I was so touched by her kind gesture. I still have it on my "memory" shelf.

My deepest condolences to Teresa’s family. She spoke so highly and fondly of her children and husband.  She was so proud of them and her grandchildren.

I remember when Teresa helped her parents in their final years and days. She was so loving  and caring.

Teresa was a wonderful supporter of her friends in need and organized many events to help others.

Teresa helped not only her own children grow but her students as well. My daughter was one of those students. She really boosted my daughter’s math confidence that year. She also fed into her love for art that 4th grade year.

Teresa and I taught together for years at Daves Avenue and she was an asset to the team and school. I am heartbroken to learn about the loss of a wonderful woman.

I will always remember Teresa’s smile and laugh. May we all find comfort in the positive memories we shared with Teresa.

I am so very sorry to hear of Teresa’s passing.  My heart goes out to her family at this sad time.
My heart goes out to her family for this sad loss. She spoke of them so often,  sharing so many great times and pictures. She was so proud and spoke so lovingly. You could tell you all  brought her so much joy and happiness. You brightened her life. That is a wonderful thing!
