Tekoa's obituary

Tekoa Miskell Pullen peacefully passed away at her home in Clearwater, FL on March 29, 2021.

A Louisville native, Tekoa was a dedicated nursing professional graduating with her RN from The Kentucky Baptist School of Nursing class of 1974 and later earned her BSN from McKendree University. Her professional career included -- but wasn't limited to -- Pediatrics, Home Health, and Diabetes Case Management and Utilization Review. She loved caring for others and educating families on how to provide quality care to their loved ones.

Tekoa was active in Girl Scouts for many years as a troop leader, camp nurse, and director. She had a passion for genealogy and enjoyed ballroom dancing.

Tekoa is preceded in death by her mother, Nan Magee, her sister, Peggy Johnson, grandmother Maude Lawson, and a very special Aunt, Doris Lynch.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Rickey Pullen, daughters Erin Priddy (Matthew), Courtney Jones (Randy), Kelly Keemer (Simon) and grandchildren Austin, Evan, Tyler, and Elliott, as well as many nephews, nieces, sisters, and friends.
