Ted's obituary
Ted Evan Phillips, was born on June 27th, in Akron Ohio, 1946 to Betty Jane Yolton and Evan Robert Phillips. He attended and graduated from Brighton High school, Northeastern Institute of Industrial Tech., New England Institute of Technology and Boston Trade High School. Later, he proudly served as a member of the United States Navy for 4 years during the Vietnam War and his occupation was in Marine Mechanics. Followed by his service in the National Guard, and he then pursued a career at Raytheon. After retirement, he later got married to Marilyn J Bowen and adopted pets; Rosie, Kit, and Tabby. Ted enjoyed spending time at home with his family and pets.
Beyond his education and enjoying time with his family and pets, Ted had a vast interest in education and some of his hobbies included but weren’t limited to wood working, engineering, design, and automotive. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, traveling, painting, watching Star Trek, drawing portraits, designing and drawing schematics, doing graphic design, and learning new things and examining other outlooks.
Ted has survived by his wife: Marilyn Bowen, his children: Julie Phillips and Mark Phillips, step children: Cherie Causey, William Roderick, Aurora Ingemi, grand children: Stephanie Roderick, Brianna Bazel, Nicholas Tavares, and predeceased his sister Doreen.
Ted was a beloved member to all of his family and friends. If you knew Ted, you knew that; He never went back on his word. If he said he would do it, he would. He was always honest, compassionate, caring, and kind to others. He was a very knowledgeable man with a lot to say.Ted always tried his best to share his knowledge with the people around him. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and anyone who knew him.

He was truly an honorable man and will always be remembered.
