Brian Kenneth Frost 

12/03/1967- 8/27/2024

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Brian, who battled with some health issues this past year. He left us sleeping peacefully at New London Hospital on the afternoon of 08/27/2024. During that week previous he was still being Brian with his jokes & laughter until the “peace” settled in him.

Born in Lansing, Michigan on December 03, 1967 to the late Kenneth Arthur Frost & Judy Ann (Delois) Frost. They moved up north shortly thereafter where they made their family him in Newport, NH. As a child/teenager Brian loved fishing, making forts in the woods, riding his ATV and picking on his sisters, Lisa and Dorinda, but the most fun for him was the coon & bear hunting with his late Uncle Dick Rouse, his uncle Rolland Oypdyke & many others. His hunting dogs were his treasure.. especially “Xypher” whom he adored.

He became a huge Nascar fan & would enjoy hosting parties for friends & family, sharing food, laughs, cards & “good cheer”. He also attended many Nascar races himself in Michigan, North Carolina & Florida. The casino was one of his other fun pastimes, where you could find him enjoying his slot machines and was known by most everyone there.

After graduating From Newport High School, Newport , NH in 1986 he attended Mid Newport College completing his HRA trades program.

Brian worked for Newport Propane & also for his dad at KB HVAC until starting his own business, Brian and Sons Landscaping, over 25 years ago. He achieved fulfillment through his business nature, his gift of gab & true business man nature. Which made him proud.

His laugh, his smile, his ability to talk for hours, his straightforwardness, his way of always have to have the last word, his hardness, his softness & even his love for chips with his sandwiches & vanilla ice cream with peanut butter describes Brian in every way.

Brian is survived by his Life partner  Tara Frost (Hoover) of Newport Beach, Virginia his daughter Taylor (Frost) Amicone; Lansing, MI and his son Peyton Frost: Holt, MI. His  grandchildren TJ Frost and Milah Frost; Lansing, MI, mother Judy Ann  Delois , Newport, NH, sister Lisa Frost (Nouriddin Kriwar); Claremont, NH, sister Dorinda Frost; Cape Coral, FL. Also his niece Samantha Frost Many Aunts, Uncles & Cousins from both New York and New Hampshire,  Wendy (Dan) Kepitis, former wife and mother of Brian’s children.

Brian was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Arthur Frost, grandfather William Frost, grandmother Luella Frost (Hood), aunt Betty Frost, grandfather John Keck, grandmother Phyllis Keck (Smith) and his uncle Doug Hougen.

Saturday,  September 25th, there will be a gathering of friends & family to remember Brian. It is being held at the Sunapee Methodist Church Sunapee NH . Family time will start at 11 a.m. with general visitation at 12 p.m. Service will begin at 1 p.m. to be followed by a luncheon. Officiated by Pastor Terry Lininski.

Taylor, Peyton, Leanne, Krista & his Mother request you bring an item that reminds you of Brian. It will all be boxed and laid to rest next to his father.
