Many decorations handed down …
2024, Halloween Decor a la T
Many decorations handed down from T, I always send her photos - this year it’s just a bit different —- she has to look down from the heavens
I'm still in shock and trying to find words...Taryn was such a rare and special person. Her smile that lit up a room, her infectious laugh, her ability to make you feel so important and loved by her undivided attention and support. Kind heart, soul and beyond gracious. I remember when I met her in SF in 1997 I immediately knew that I would be lucky to have her as a friend. Thank goodness she felt the same:). To Frank, Lainey, Jack and her family: I can't even imagine the loss and heartbreak you're feeling. Hoping there is comfort in knowing how loved T was and how much she touched so many people. Gracie, Naz and I will be at her celebration of life and can't wait to hug you all❤️

I will always hold onto the loving memories I have of Taryn from our younger years. Some of my favorite memories ever, were during my time living in the city and being lucky enough to be part of a friend group that included Taryn and Frank. Like many in our friend group, we got see their relationship begin, blossom, and thrive.  Although we didn’t have iPhones back then to capture every moment, my lasting memory of Taryn was always of laughter, joy and wonderful smiles.

Unfortunately I had to move away from CA so long ago, that I missed out and so many years of their friendship and watching their family grow.

So to Frank, (my friend that I miss, from a very memorable time in my life), you and Taryn will always be part of a very impactful part of my life and although this breaks my heart, I am so glad I met you both and she will be missed.

And to Lainey and Jack, I hope to meet you someday, so I can see your mother’s love and joy shine through in you.

Eddie

We are all in Sonoma with Cay…
2009, Sonoma, CA, USA
We are all in Sonoma with Cayman as a baby. Taryn, Frank, Judy, Lainey and Jack were there for us on Day -300 and made it all so fun. Taryn’s expression is pure joy. I am so grateful she is the best Aunt to Cayman and she helped me on every step so far, her guidance is my North Star. My heart hurts for you Frank, Lainey & Jack, sending you love 24/7.

Taryn was a great friend with a wonderful family.  We were friends for over 20 years and she became more like a sister than a friend.  Taryn was fun, strong and always authentic.  I loved being around her.  I was so shocked and sad to hear about her passing.  She will always be loved.

First picture to reveal C has…
First picture to reveal C has finally reached the Hanehans in height. Now, the trick is for us both to follow them in character, integrity, greatness and okay, a little humor will be quite wonderful. In all seriousness, I have some of my greatest memories and guidance from both T and Frank for becoming a parent.

My heart breaks for you and your family. I had the pleasure of knowing Taryn for the last three years. She was a light and was so proud of her beautiful family. She will be missed. Prayers of comfort lifted up.

It's hard to even come look at a site like this. It has a way of making an event real you really wish was not real and don't even want to think about. As Taryn's older brother, I guess that makes me the person who knew her longer than any other person alive, now that our mom and older aunts and uncles are no longer with us either. She was always such an amazing person, and over the years became the heart at the center of the Crawford family, and in both of those areas, is simply irreplaceable. She will be missed by many, but never forgotten. It is hard to understand the meaning of some of life's twists and turns, she was taken from all of us far too early and at far too young of an age. My heart goes out to Frank, Lainey and Jack, as well as all of the friends who knew her, and are like all of us, heartbroken over the loss of so bright a light in our world.

Taryn's last visit to see us …
2021, Montecito, CA, USA
Taryn's last visit to see us in Santa Barbara - a picture of her, me and my son Cayman while having lunch in Montecito. — with Michael Crawford, Taryn Hanehan and Cayman Crawford
Taryn was such a bright light, a warm and loving soul who made strangers feel like family. She will be missed by so many.
I’ve only known Tayrn for a few years but she was always a joy to be around. I had the pleasure of  building her and Franks house and I gotta say she was one of my favorites!!! My heart breaks to hear of her passing. I know her memories will never be forgotten!

Three years was such a short time to know Taryn.  I'm jealous of all who knew her, loved her, shared her journey longer than I did.  I read about her laughter and feel blessed that I got to know that part of Taryn as well. The family/friends boat rides on the lake will always be in my heart.  I can still hear Taryn's laughter when she spent time with her family and friends.  For all that knew and loved Taryn, I wish for peace in our hearts.
Frank, Lainey and Jack,  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.  Taryn was a beautiful person who everyone liked when they met her. She always had a smile on her face. That was a beautiful obituary. Love to you all, Ron and Eileen

Frank, I only met Taryn once, but that was enough to know she had a kind heart and soul and would do anything for those in need. Her smile was infectious! I'm sorry this happened to you and your family. You're in my thoughts. You are welcomed on the hill in Gainesboro anytime.

When did we first meet, Taryn?  Was it outside the kindergarten room?  Or was it at the school playground when Jack and David played tag?  On that destined day, you introduced yourself with a big smile, and I grinned awkwardly.  We were so different yet so same.  With you, there were no differences.  I said, "My neck hurts looking up at you", you smiled and pulled a chair, "Let's sit down, my friend."  You bent down to give me a hug, always.  You have taught me kindness, generosity and letting go my ego.  I am honored to be called your friend.

"Sisters, always!"  Your last text message read.  You will always be.

Dear Frank, Lainey and Jack, Taryn was a beautiful soul and a gift that has touched so many lives including mine and will continue to touch many lives through your lives for she will always be with you.  She always said her life was filled with gratitude and thanksgiving.  She lived a grace-filled life.  I keep you and Taryn in my prayers always.

I will forever remember that beautiful smile & laugh! When myself, my sister Ann Marie, Sister Pat & SMT traveled to New Orleans to attend Taryn & Franky’s wedding, I remember how welcoming and loving she made us feel. It was a such a wonderful wedding and I am so glad that I got to meet her and be present for that wonderful day in their lives. Please pass on our condolence. Our love and prayers are with Franky, Lainey & Jack.

May the road rise to meet you,

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face…

🍀🙏🏼

Aunt Taryn will be truly missed.  She had such fun energy.  She was great role model for her family.
