I have a memory of my daughters birthday party where Tara and her took off on our trails in our little oddessy cart. Like a go cart with a roll cage. Carly was giving everyone rides. She had let Tara drive at some point and they went through a barbwire fence. I rushed Carly to ER (finger caught the fence). They fixed her up and when we returned there was a large sign that said Get Well Soon and Happy Birthday Carly
All the girls had signed it and decorated it while we were gone. Pretty sure this was Tara's idea and we were grateful all the girls stayed. Tara was a ray of sunshine whenever I saw her and a great friend to my daughter Carly. Such beauty inside and out.

At the time of her service, her pic appeared in the documentary film "The Roseman Of Omaha" at the exact same hour as the showing of the documentary in the Corning Iowa Film Festival in Corning Iowa, March 7 2026.

The first time we met we talked for hours on a video chat. She was just a few days into her sobriety journey but it was very clear that she was committed and determined to become the best version of herself. At one point, while describing her hopes for the future, she began to tear up. This combination of self-awareness, vulnerability, and strength was one of the many things I loved and admired about her. We were together a lot over the next year+. I was fortunate to see that strength and self-growth up close. There were many trials during that time but her spirit never wavered. It was one of the greatest examples of how to live intentionally toward one's true self.
As beautiful as that was to witness, her commitment to others during that time is what really stood out. Tara carried a lot, but she never hesitated to take on more if it meant helping someone else. Rare was the day when she wasn't chatting with a friend, loved one, or even a stranger she met once at a meeting, offering advice or being a shoulder to lean on. It was spiritual. Something we celebrate now in our hearts as we try to emulate that example.

My condolences to Tara's family. I first met Tara via Remy and had the opportunity to spend time getting to know her in a very short period of time. While I didn't know her well or very long, she left a lasting impression on me. I absolutely love Tara's spirit, her beautiful heart and warmth. What stood out to me immediately was her smile and we immediately clicked. Our birthdays were only 3 days apart and we had so much in common despite coming from different walks of life. Meeting and getting to know Tara was a reminder to me of just how connected everyone is and I'm so grateful that I got to spend even a little bit of time with her. Its crazy how someone you met only a handful of times can leave an indelible impression you. Tara I'm grateful to have met you and for the time we got to spend together. I saw the pain and beauty in you and I just pray that wherever you are now, you are frolicking and joyful because you deserve that! Rest well angel and continue shining your light on everyone who loves you!
Love,
Jazmin

Bonjour,
