She and I grew up together.  We spent many holidays together ❤️  at their house in White Oak.  We played piano all the time.  She was my favorite cousin.  We discovered in our 60's that we both loved making jewelry.  I miss her very much.
We grew up together and remained close throughout our childhood and on into adulthood. She was a great influence in my life and my mother Jean Rodgers Dorris and of course Tandy’s dad Red Rodgers we’re siblings. I remember lots of Christmas Eve get-togethers at Red and Laura’s house. Tandy and I would get in the den area where the piano was located and we would sing to the tops of our lungs and and bang on That old piano till one of the adults would holler at us to stop making that noise and find something else to do. Those were the good old days and many fond memories were shared at that house. I miss Tandy and as our lives took us down separate paths we learned later that both of us had a gift of designing jewelry and Tandy taught me (Leone’) a lot about the Trade and at the age of 68 years young I continue making jewelry. I have an online store where I post my treasures on a site called BeadsnBauble.com. Thanks Tandy for being my Cuz and my Friend. I will always Love you and Miss you. Leone Garmon
Tandy will always hold a special place in my heart! ❤️

I loved her so much. She was a beautiful person. We shared so many jewelry ideas. She was a talented gemstone professional and inspired me with her life. We stayed in contact. She is a shining star in heaven. I will miss her.

Tandy .. you are a rare gem. You’re known for your unforgettable dimples and big brown eyes; but also your humor and compassion, just to name a few of the many qualities you possessed.
Prayers for your family: Ric, Hannah, Christian. You beamed with pride when you spoke of them!

Our entire class of ‘76 will always remember and love you. Until we meet again..... ❤️ Vicki
Tandy was my BFF thru high school. We shared ALOT of laughs - mostly at ourselves. We lost touch after high school, both going our separate paths, but thanks to social media reconnected several years ago. I was happy to see her posts and pictures on Facebook and glad that we had the chance to chat, although we never saw each other again. It makes me sad to think about a world without that wild and crazy light that she was. To Ric, Hannah, and Christian, she loved you all so very much. She talked about you all and how proud she was of all of you. I hope you never doubt that while she was not perfect, she loved you as perfectly as she knew how to. Her Bostick and Rodgers families were very important to her and I know she missed you all. I don't know all the twists and turns Tandy's life took along the way, but I am thankful for the blessing of her friendship, and that we did find each other again - if for nothing else to share some of those fun memories of long ago. When I lost both of my sisters, she was the first one to send me a message that she loved me and was saying prayers for me. She had a huge heart. Prayers for peace for all of you. She will be sorely missed.
To the family, we grieve with you. Tandy was an unusual person. We have to believe God had a job for her in glory. She would have preferred to not be a burden on anyone. God will give you strength to get through these hard times. Remember her knack for making people laugh.
Tandy gave so much joy daily. Her different poses on FB. Looked forward to it. We didn't always agree on things but we could always agree to disagree. Life's too short to stay upset. She is probably working with the animals in Heaven. R.I.P my friend!
