Tana Yvonne Brown, 68, passed away on May 1st 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born Tana Yvonne Willis on July 10th 1957 to Robert and Juanita Weaver, she was the eldest of four children. Tana was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Juanita Weaver; her brother, Steven Weaver; her grandson, Steven Priest; and her great-grandson, Jay Priest.

Tana devoted many years of her life to caring for others. As a dedicated caregiver, she touched the lives of countless people with her kindness, compassion, and selflessness. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—tending to her plants, spending time with her beloved dog, Jax, and enjoying a glass of sweet tea. Her bright smile and joyful laughter could light up any room. Above all, she cherished being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Misty Priest and Jason Priest; her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Priest; her grandchildren, Leesa Gray and Madison Priest; 6 added blessings of grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her siblings, Robin Colwell and Michael Weaver; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and her beloved pet, Jax Brown.

Tana will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was truly a light in this world, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
