My memories of dear Tami harken back to a young age of innocence and experimentation. Tami was a patient but firm maternal presence in the household on Kagawa Street in Pacific Palisades CA, and became a second mother to me and many others. Her wit and intellect was sharp and accurate, often outcompeting Jeopardy contestants from the comfort of her living room. I lost touch with her after college days, but the bonds she nurtured with Ryan and Erica still resonate with me to this day. God bless you, Tami, you will be missed. Love, John M
Miss Crosbie, I have many pleasant memories of coming to your home in the alphabet streets of Pacific Palisades and playing with your son Ryan. We would bounce on a pogo stick by the garage being careful not to fall into your car, or disassemble your couch and carry the cushions to the top of the stairway only to play avalanche, trying to dodge the cushions while someone pushed them down on us. You would make us after school snacks and tell us to go outside and play so that the house would stay clean. I remember an incident on Halloween where someone decided to stabbed me in the chest while he stole my candy and you put a butterfly bandage on my chest and waited with me until my father came to pick me up. I will miss your smile, your laugh, and you raising your voice when Ryan and I did something that you didn’t approve of. With love, I will miss you.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother. I miss the conversations we had that would leave me smiling or laughing on my way out. She lived a beautiful life. I’m fortunate and blessed to have known her.
I hope you all are doing as well as possible following your loss. I’m looking forward to celebrating her life and seeing you on the third of February. Thank you for thinking of all of us in holding the ceremony at the mill.
Please take care and again, I’m sorry for your loss.
