Tammy's obituary

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Tammy Louise Roberts on June 8, 2024. Born on November 23, 1963, to Allen Benjamin Davis Sr., & Carolyn Ann (Willey) Davis, she was a cherished individual whose spark of life will continue to ignite the memories of those who knew her.

Tammy leaves behind a loving family; her husband, Timothy Joseph Roberts Sr., son Michael Wayne Roe (Susan), daughter Tiffany Nichole Roe Marshall (Lorenzo), and step son Timothy Joseph (TJ) Roberts Jr. She also shares memories with her brothers, Justin Lee Davis and Allen Benjamin Davis Jr., and her sisters, Nancy Dawn Bedford, and Kristi Sue Davis. Tammy is predeceased by her beloved daughter Stephanie Michelle Roe and mother Carolyn Ann Davis.

Known for her candid, caring nature and her generosity of love, Tammy was a beacon of kindness. She passionately believed that kindness goes a long way, a lesson she exemplified and shared with those around her. She will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by many.

Before becoming ill, she exhibited a spirit of volunteerism and community service, dedicating her time to the Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department and Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company. Tammy was an enthusiastic fan of the Orioles, and an avid follower of Dale Earnhardt & Rusty Wallace.

In her youth, Tammy found joy in playing softball, bowling, and organizing cookouts for her family. She revealed her light-hearted side with her love for the TV shows 'Winnie The Pooh', Tweety Bird', 'Wheel Of Fortune', 'Family Feud', and movies like 'Titanic'. She had a taste for turkey and tootsie rolls, accompanied by the tunes of Savage Garden.

Tammy's most beloved accomplishments were her children and volunteering for the local fire department(s). A highlight of her childhood was when she attained the title of Little Miss Trappe with the Trappe V.F.D. Yet, her true legacy lies beyond her achievements in the form of a trail of kindness and a commitment to doing unto others.

Tammy was passionate about several causes, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, DC Children's Hospital, Grasonville VFD, Chestertown VFC, First Light For First Responders, and Girl Scouts of America. Her contributions to these causes reflect her generous nature, and this generosity will continue to inspire those who knew her.

In remembrance of Tammy Roberts, we honor her life and the warmth she brought to our lives. Her memory will continue to thrive in our hearts, embodied by her legacy of kindness and the love she shared with her family.
