Tammy's obituary

Tammy Glover, 67, peacefully passed away on March 18, 2025 at Pointe Coupee General Hospital with her loving and devoted daughter, Stacey by her side. Tammy was born on November 23, 1957.

Tammy will be remembered for her love of being a mother and grandmother as well as her kindness, strength, “stubbornness” and her great sense of humor. She dedicated her life to her family. She loved watching her grandchildren play the sports they participate in, and she also enjoyed going on camping trips with her oldest daughter Stacey, son-in-law Shane and their children, Kenlie and Riley. Tammy had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone without ever expecting anything in return. She retired after working many years for the Secretary of State, where she met many of her closest friends.

Tammy survived by her loving daughter and “favorite Nurse”, Stacey Lindsly (Shane) and daughter Hollie Firmin. She also had 4 grandchildren that she adored, Hagen Kenlie Lindsly, Riley Michael Lindsly, Carter Firmin (of whom Tammy was raising) and John Tobon Jr.  She also survived by her twin brother Tom Hagen and sister Jackie Tolson. Tammy was an aunt to niece, Jamie Massa (Brian) and she also had many nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father John “Jack” Hagen and mother Delores Turner; brothers, John Hagen, Ray Hagen, Dale Hagen and sister Georgette Hall. What a beautiful reunion for Tammy.

Tammy will be very missed by many. Her daughter Stacey would like to extend a special thank you to the Nurses with Pointe Coupee General Hospital, Pointe Coupee Hospice, Dr. Carl Mclemore and staff at Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group in New Roads. A Celebration of Life gathering will be planned for a future date, following Tammy’s cremation.
