It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tammy Lynn Smithwick Flores, who departed from this world on April 7, 2026. Tammy, affectionately known to many as La Loca, was born on October 8, 1968, and touched many lives with her vibrant spirit and unforgettable personality.

A woman of strength, determination, and the life of the party, Tammy's laughter and resiliency was a beacon of light to all who crossed her path. Despite life's adversities, she displayed an unwavering strength that inspired those around her.

Tammy is survived by her loving family; daughter Amber Keck, and sons William and Stephen Goins. Grandchildren; Kaliyah, Khamari, Zariyah, Zoe, and Samantha, whom she loved more than life. Her sisters: Debbie Estrada-Escobar and Holly Fernandez, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. They, along with many other lives Tammy has touched, will deeply miss her unshakeable spirit, and her boundless love.

She was predeceased by her father, Edwin Wayne Smithwick, her mother, Mary Alta Bumgardener, and her beloved granddaughter, Mia Goins. Her grandparents: Magdalene and Edwin Smithwick, and Mary and Henry Elledge. Their memories remain etched in our hearts, a testament to the significant influence they had on Tammy's life.

A memorial service in honor of Tammy will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church. This service will serve as a platform to celebrate her life, and to pay respects to the incredible woman we knew and cherished.

The void left by Tammy's departure cannot be filled, but we take solace in knowing that she is no longer in pain, and in the arms of Jesus. We know we will see her again one day in heaven.  Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us in the days to come. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life, her laughter, and her unbreakable spirit. We bid farewell to a remarkable woman, but her spirit will forever reside in our hearts.
