Tamara's obituary

Tamara Dawn Thalhuber (Osman), beloved mother, daughter, and sister, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2026, in Dallas, Georgia, just five days after celebrating her 54th birthday. Those who loved her knew her as a bright and bubbly spirit with a quick wit and a laugh that could light up a room, Tamara leaves behind a legacy of love that will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

Tamara had a warmth and humor that drew people to her. She loved fiercely, and nothing reflected that more than her devotion to her daughters, Shelbi and Abbey, who were the great joy of her life. Her beloved dog, Barlow, was her faithful companion and brought her much comfort.

Tamara faced her share of struggles in this life, including a battle with alcohol addiction that her family witnessed with both heartbreak and hope. Through it all, she remained someone who was deeply loved — funny, warm, and full of life until the very end.

Tamara is survived by her daughters, Shelbi (Gabrielle) Groath and Abbey (Alex) Slefinger; her mother, Susan Osman; her father, Herbert Osman Sr.; her sister, Trendy (Philip) Stanchfield their sons Porter and Jack; her brother, Herbert (Larain) Osman Jr. their daughters Jade and Ava; as well as many other loving family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
