Tamara's obituary
Tamara was born to Charles and Mary Shook on July 11th, 1945 in Hickory, NC. As a child, Tamara loved hanging out in the backyard with her pet duck named Andre, and spending time with her friends who would later introduce her to her husband, Webster. Tamara attended Lenoir Rhyne College, and received her Associates in Secretarial Studies. She enjoyed taking trips to the mountains and the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Tamara met her husband, Webster "Buzzy" Guy Hadnott Jr., and married in the 60’s. They had two children together, Tracie and Adam, and had a family business for 15+ years named Webb’s Superette.
In addition to being a dedicated wife, mom, and grandmother, Tamara also loved having a great time with friends and family, and loved to have parties and go on rides with her husband on their GoldWing motorcycles. She also enjoyed road trips through Blue Ridge Parkway, and visiting the Outer Banks. Tamara loved music as well, artists including Elvis, Neil Diamond, Alabama, Tim McGraw, and Celiene Dion. Throughout her entire life, she put others before herself, and found so much joy in supporting and providing for others. She loved very hard, and her smile was contagious. Her love was unapologetic and unconditional.
Tamara joins her late husband, father, and mother in Heaven, and we know she is riding with Buzzy on their GoldWing in the skies. She is survived by both her children, Tracie and Adam, her daughter-in-law, Suravadee and her grandchildren Emily, Tia, Allan, Asher, and Paige.
We know this much is true,
We are all blessed to have been loved by you, Tamara, Mom, Nana.
