I am sooo sorry to hear of JP passing, especially under those circumstances.
In 1976 I was a 22 year old new hire as a Flight Line Mechanic at the Cessna Wallace Plant. I was fresh from east coast, new to Kansas, and all things Midwestern. JP was my first partner/mentor. He was patient , kind and considerate, and very responsible and knowledgeable about his/our jobs. I learned so much about soo many things from him. He is one of a few back then that had a direct impact on how I shaped up as a mechanic and as a person . There is no doubt his influence in my life helped steer my successful progression through the industry into Engineering...and even my rolling into and through parenthood/grand parenthood and all things social.
JP was a great man.
