Tajudeen's obituary

Tajudeen Hamzat, born July 4, 1965, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025. He is fondly remembered by his daughters, Basitat and Mufliat Hamzat; and his sons, Mateen and Hameen Hamzat. He also had the joy of becoming a grandparent on July 8, 2024.

A man of refined tastes, Tajudeen was a lover of Amala and beef, and he enjoyed a glass of wine. His favorite genre of music was RnB, and he found solace in the timeless pieces of art by Monet. He was an active individual, both a fan and a player of Tennis. He also had a fondness for the performing arts, with Hamilton being one of his favorites.

Tajudeen enjoyed spending quality time with his family, and was known for his love for vacationing in Hawaii. His favorite color was black, a reflection of his simple yet sophisticated style.

Remembered for his bubbly personality, Tajudeen was a man full of warmth. He was prompt, generous, and friendly, always carrying with him an infectious positive energy. He believed in leading with kindness, stating that everyone has internal battles unseen by others, thus encouraging a kind approach towards all.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity. His family and friends will remember him as a man who enriched their lives with his radiant persona and unending benevolence. A funeral service was held on April 11, 2025, at 8:00 PM at 5255 N Pulaski Rd.

The words "You will be missed, Daddy" resonate deeply with those who loved him and knew him. Tajudeen, a pillar of strength and love, will be remembered and greatly missed.
