My condolences to Chris's family.
I first met Chris when I was her neighbor in Bend. I introduced myself as she was creating her garden with the help of John. Over time we became close friends, introducing me too Restore and volunteering with her at the store, wine and dinner parties at her home, football, concerts in the summer and touring her around the island of O’ahu meeting my family and friends.
Chris was a beautiful, talented, creative, sweet, savvy and smart Lady… loved her Pinot Grigio from Costco, chobanni yogurt, cheese & salami.
I will forever cherish the time we spent together and the bond we shared as friends. I miss her dearly and comforted knowing she is with her true love Howard, resting in heavenly peace.
I love you dearly my friend.
Aloha, until we meet again.

You could say Chris and I go way back -- I was a little kid and met her during Christmas Vacation when she and Howard came to our house for Christmas. I was in grade school. I was happy for Howie (the family nickname for Howard) for having such a beautiful girlfriend! Chris became an instant member of our family. We all loved her -- especially for her laughing, and cooking and because she made Howie happy..
