Sylvia had a quiet gentleness, and there was not just one act of kindness, she was always kind, whether it was making you welcome, remembering my son, who she rarely saw or just that lovely smile when she said hello.

Sylvia and Sam's 60th Anniversary at Maxine's - a lovely surprise for Mummy and Daddy
I am so sorry for your loss.  Sylvia was such a special person and a lovely lady.  There was always a welcome and she always remembered Joe and asked after him.
We were delighted and honoured to meet Sylvia at the wedding of her grandson to our daughter earlier this year and send our condolences to you all on the loss of such a special mother and grandmother.
Sylvie will be missed ,she along with Sam were always perfect hosts whenever we visited,a generation who always put themselves out to help others, they made you feel part of the family
