Sydney Ann Floyd of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on November 4, 2023 after a long and hard fought battle with younger onset dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease. She was only 62 years old.
Lovingly named after her late aunt, Sydney was born on June 22, 1961 in Lancaster, California to Dixie (Dorsey) Gates and Robert ‘Bob’ Gates. Being the daughter of a military employee, they moved around the Southern California area throughout her childhood until …
