Mrs. Sybil Thompson work here on earth has come to an end but we know heaven is rejoicing. It's rejoicing because you have fulfilled your purpose in the land of the living. Mrs. Thompson has lived a life well spent; selflessly serving her family, church,  community, friends and even strangers through her kind acts and passion for education.

May the soul of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in perfect peace.

Sybil Thompson, a wonderful soul!  She gave of herself for the good of all.  It was my pleasure to have served with her at HRMAJ.  Always looking out for others.  St. Clements was dear to her heart.  Her soul is now resting in peace.

Mrs. Thompson will forever be in my heart, I remember my first encounter in 1998 at an Anglican function at the Pegasus, we looked at each other n her smile captured my heart, she asked me what was my name, we exchanged numbers and our friendship blossomed. I can easily say she was a one of kind  and I cherished every moment spent ; Always Loving , Pleasant , Positive , Kind and Helpful.  She was a Saint and was so devoted to her Mission . She will be Forever Missed. Surely her Sweet Soul will Rest In Peace n Light Perpetual with Shine on Her. Tanya,  May God Strengthen you and your family at this time, We have lost a Matriarch 😌

I will forever cherish the many moments spent with Mrs Thompson, whether at her home in Acadia, at the mission in Kencot or chatting on our way to and from church on Sundays. May her dear soul rest in eternal peace.
Mrs Thompson I’m so sorry I didn’t get a chance to come by to say hi and chat, laugh and get educated on the history of Jamaica to which I enjoyed with you. I’ll forever remember your smiles, your jovial charisma. And if that day will come that we meet again I know I’ll be happy to see you again. Thanks for sharing so much, thanks for your kindness, thanks for your unconditional love.  ❤️🙏

Sybil was "our" sister in St. Andrew Old Girls. Ever faithful and ever present. A trailblazer in the spirit of Andrews she was the sharpest communicator regardless of her age.  A Legacy of Service and Love.  You will be in our hearts forever!
Mrs. Thompson was a beautiful, gracious soul who loved her community. To Tanya, Daejohn, and Donovan, may you feel God's love and find comfort in the happy memories you hold of "Mrs. T."
