Svetlana was all about her husband, children and her passion of ballet. She brought to our community a sense of “yes” you can do this and you will. I’m blessed to have known her. Praying for your hearts to have all happy memories of your Mom. Smiles makes us feel better, remember and smile .

I was so sorry to hear that “Miss” Svetlana had passed. It’s impossible to overstate the impact that she and Mr. Fred had on my life. I dance now as an adult for personal enjoyment and I credit “Miss” Svetlana for my arm position! I think of you all often and send my love, prayers, and gratitude.

Svetlana always made sure all of the "boys from Birmingham" were taken care of when we visited Gilbertown for camping trips. When the storms rolled in she always sent someone out to check on us to make sure we were still OK. A lot of great memories.

We will forever love and miss Svetlana.  She was a kind and gifted friend that we are so fortunate to have known.  We learned so much from this special lady. ♥️♥️♥️

So very sorry for your loss!  Svetlana was a beautiful, graceful lady and my nieces grandmother.  She will be missed by many.  She was such a wonderful hostess when I had an opportunity to visit her home and studio.  She loved to shop at Dillards!  And she was so proud of her children and grand-daughter.  ❤️

Ian and family - we are so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. She was an incredible woman with a kind heart that has clearly been passed on through to her children. Sending you lots of love and light. We hope you find comfort in your the memories of her.

Such wonderful memories of the many years of working with Fred and Svetlana in Gilbertown. My sister, Frances, and I were just talking today about how talented she was when it came to the costumes for our many productions.

I am so sorry for your great loss.  Two of my granddaughters took dance in Gilbertown, and she was always such a gracious lady.  I loved all the theatrical productions that Fred and Svetlana produced and directed.  We were so sorry to see them retire and move away.  They were both so immensely talented, and we were so fortunate that we had them for the years we did.  Praying for you all.

What an incredible loss for this Earth. She was an amazing woman who added so much to the world around her. We all adored her!

She was the most amazing woman I have ever met. I thought about her often over the years since I moved north to Missouri, and missed the friends I made while Norman and Netta and I were coming to Gilbertown.
