For friends and family traveling from out of town I recommend staying at The Point Hotel and Casino.
It's new, modern and has a great buffet. You can also blow some coin (or win) at the tables or slots.
The hotel is separate from the casino (across the parking lot) also accepts pets.

If you are flying into Seatac Airport I recommend renting a car and "driving around" aka drive through Tacoma to Kingston.
However... If you want the full Seattle "scenic" experience you should take the Seattle Ferry to Bainbridge.

Suzanne Soderling passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday August 25, 2019. She was an incredibly fun, sincere, dedicated, loving friend, wife and mother. She loved to laugh and had an endearing personality and great sense of humor. For most of her life she worked in various jobs in the entertainment industry. However, when she became a mother it was her full-time occupation until her death. She loved being a homemaker and truly made …
