Sue was an inspiration to me in many ways. Over the past few years I've settled into a career in education. Many things lead to path, among them Sue's passion for teaching. The shelves of books, the down to earth conversations about how best to prepare teachers for teaching,  her expansive view of how physical education could be used to teach young people to become responsible citizens, and of course her curiosity, warmth, laughter, and love. She changed how I think about teaching (and butterflies) and made an impression that helped shape the person I am becoming.
