Sujata will always be remembered as one of Swamiji's spiritual daughters. She was a founding member of the Himalayan Institute who dedicated her life in service to her Gurudev Shri Swami Rama, to the tradition of the the Himalayan Masters and to the Himalayan Institute.
I remember her from early eighties when we were all young. I remember Mick from his first days at the Institute when we were both working at retrofitting the 'barn' into a warehouse for the printing press. We all grew up together in the Institute, from kids to parents and now to grand parents. It was the heydays of the Institute. I remember it like it was yesterday and all its permanent residents and regular weekend visitors. Then, we got newly married under the auspices of Swamiji and started our families. We were a weekend fixture at the Institute and Sujata was always there, in this office or that, in one service or another. It was our extended family in the Institute, and Sujata, a sister.
The Himalayan Institute is its members. It was created by its stalwarts members, of who Sujata and Mick are core. We are some of the few fortunate ones who shared our youth years with them.
Now, Sujata is part of the Himalayan Masters tradition which is everlasting and living. All Himalayan Institute initiates are intrinsically connected to it. Therefore, a fond adieu Sujata for now, till we meet again!

I first met Suzanne in 5th grade when we both played (or attempted to) the violin. Since that time I have never met a more genuine and beautiful soul. Peace, my friend.

Our hearts became a little sore at hearing about Suzanne's passing. She was such a pure, loving soul. Even when she needed to be stern, you felt the underlying love right along with it. Truly a gift to have known Sujata over the last 3 decades, especially touched on the level of her involvement in our wedding at HI. We're touched by her famous smile and easy laugh and the pure embodiment of a sweet old loving soul.

Charles and I were so sorry to hear the news about Sujata. When I think of her, I think of a smiling face, a loving and peaceful countenance, and someone who always had time to help. She was one of those people who did so much to help others, but was very quiet about it. She certainly helped me when I planted my first garden!

Mick and Family,
I can't begin to tell you how shocked I was to hear about Suzanne. I last saw her with a friend of mine at the High Kings concert in Sellersville. She was enjoying that concert so much. And in spite of the rain, we made a valiant attempt at tailgating.
I am so fortunate to have met you two and how we enjoyed getting together. I'm so happy we all had dinner together in Phoenixville.
Hang strong. God Bless You all. Farewell sweet soul.
