Suzanne's obituary
Suzanne Clement, 90, of Escondido, CA passed away on January 28, 2025 in Escondido, California, at the age of 90.
Born on November 19, 1934, in South Carolina, Suzanne’s life spanned nine decades of experiences and connections. She combined real spunk with a sweetness, and an endearing sense of humor.
A memorial gathering to remember Suzanne and comfort all with the real hope from the Bible will be held on March 30, 2025, at OceanView Post Acute (Activity Room), located at 1980 Felicita Rd, Escondido, California, 92025. The gathering will take place from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM.
Suzanne loved life, and it was rare that you would see her without a twinkle in her eye and a colorful bow in her hair. Suzanne combined real spunk with a sweetness, and an endearing sense of humor. It was definitely her tenacity and resilience, along with a tender heart that kept her going with joy while residing at a nursing home for the last 8 years of her life.
Suzanne was very generous, and she absolutely loved to give to others. She attended Bible college for several years and built a deep respect for the Bible, convinced it is the Word of God. At age 89, she realized her Bible education was limited to pieces of a puzzle. She then began to put these pieces together, which deepened her love for truth and changed her outlook entirely. Learning the theme of the Bible, the good news of God's Kingdom, was the most precious truth she came to appreciate.
Suzanne wholeheartedly believed, as proved by scriptural reference, that Jehovah God will fulfill His original purpose for mankind and the earth. When God’s heavenly government exercises authority over all mankind, the earth will become a happy place where people can live together in harmony and do good and satisfying work. The majority who have fallen asleep in death, will be brought back to life here on earth in paradise. Describing what conditions on earth will then be like, the Bible states that God “will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
Suzanne was longing, eagerly awaiting these future promises! "It needs to hurry up!", she would say. May we all anxiously await and keep close in mind this real hope from our God and Father, Jehovah, "who cannot lie." Titus 1:2
