It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sutton Bechtold, who left us on March 18, 2025, eleven days shy of his 34th birthday. He is survived by his family, Terry Bechtold, Monet Bechtold, Kyle Bechtold, and Ashley Bechtold. Sutton was born on March 29, 1991, and in his  life, he touched many with his unique, kind, silly, and beautiful personality. Sutton was a light that shone brightly, illuminating love and happiness and having an uncontrollable contagious laugh wherever he went.

Sutton shared many lessons with those fortunate enough to cross his path. His laughter was infectious, teaching everyone around him the healing power of joy and the importance of not taking life too seriously. Sutton loved cooking, and he delighted in sharing this passion with others, cultivating a sense of community around the dinner table. His energetic dancing and appreciation for music brought life to every party, proving that rhythm isn't just in the music, but in our souls. He was an animal lover, his favorite being Doodle who brought him the most joy and taught him a new type of love and affection. Above all, Sutton showed us how to love unconditionally, his heart always open, loving people for who they truly were.

In addition to his numerous personal qualities, Sutton had a successful life. After graduating from college in Puerto Rico, Sutton used his leadership and people skills to become a highly respected hotel manager. These accomplishments were the tangible proofs of his dedication, resilience, and hard work.

Sutton leaves behind a legacy of kindness and beautiful memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. His spirit lives on in the lessons he shared, the joy he instilled, and the love he gave. We mourn his loss deeply, but we also celebrate the remarkable life he led, knowing that Sutton would want us to remember him with a smile, a laugh, and an open heart.
