Susie and I first met in 1972 when she was a Freshman and I was a Sophomore in high school. We both knew pretty quickly that we were soul mates even though we were still very young. Susie was my girlfriend, my wife, my lover, the mother of my children, and the grandmother of my grandchildren. I miss her so very much and the world is not the same place without her. I love you Susie with all my heart.

Susie is an inspiration in being a rock for her family. I am so grateful to her for her unwavering bond to her family.  May everyone have such a force in their lives.
We met Susie while walking the Mall in the early mornings.  Her cheerful smile was always delightful to see.  Our hears and prayers are with Bob and family.

Bob and family, I am so sorry to hear the news of Susie's passing.  My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you.

Susie and I became fast friends when I worked for Bob. For the past 15+ years they made Mike and I always feel like family. Susie was 110% all in with anything she did for anyone. She was a giver and a true loyal friend. She loved her family fiercely and did any and everything in her power to do whatever she could for all of them, and all that knew her

I know she leaves behind a great legacy, but also, for those that love her so much such great memories and a very large void. We will all miss her so much!!

Rest easy my forever friend!

Love you always,

Jheri

What a wonderful memory! — with Susie, Bob Zeffery and Jheri knowles
Cannot say enough about this incredible woman.  My aunt Susie always put family first.  She was the one that everyone came to for support and advice.  I was fortunate throughout my young life to spend a lot of time with her and she was always there to take care of me when I was home sick or needed to be watched after school.  I’ll never forget all the adventures (especially big bear) in the brown ford Aerostar.   She taught so much about compassion, understanding, and respect for others.  I would not be able to function in my career today without her early inspiration.  As you all know, she lived an incredible life (great husband , kids, and grandchildren) and we will continue to carry her memory forward.
My most heartfelt condolences to Susie's family. I first met Susie when she and my brother started dating at ages 14 and 15. She is truly a part of our Zeffery family. We loved her immediately if for no other reason than at that time Bob was so smitten and happy. It was so good to see him  that way.  I hope the sweet memories help him through these difficult times. She will be deeply missed.
Susie was a giver. Always doing things for others. Unconditional love for her family and friends, never with a thought for herself. She got along with everyone. She’s been a part of the Zeffery family for 53 years. She felt more like a sister, not a sister-in-law. She will be missed so much!
I only knew her for a short time. She was always so open, nice, and caring. I remember Kelly telling me all the time that her mom would ask about me and although my family is not a touchy feely group of people she would always hug me when she saw me and that made me feel special and wanted.
