For those of us who had the privilege of working alongside her, Susanne was far more than a than a colleague.

Throughout her career, Susanne brought a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and deep compassion to everything she did. She had a sharp mind for operations and a gift for solving complex problems, but what truly set her apart was her unwavering care for people. Whether she was mentoring a colleague, guiding a team through change, or simply sharing a laugh in the hallway, Susanne made us all feel seen, heard, and valued.

I had the honor of working closely with her for my entire career of 30+ years.  Susanne approached the work with grace, clarity, and a deep sense of responsibility, not just to the business, but to the people behind it.

Her legacy is not just in the systems she improved or the strategies she led, but in the culture, she helped shape. She made us all better, more thoughtful, more united, and more human.

We will miss her wisdom, her humor, and her presence every single day. But we carry forward her spirit in the way we work, the way we lead, and the way we care for one another.

Rest in peace, Susanne. Thank you for everything.

And I am sorry you won't be here for the discontinuation of the Viking(R) products!  :)

Susanne and I worked together for 35 years. I was HR and she was responsible for all of Operations. Many an hour was spent together in her office or mine trying to maneuver the many issues that would arise. We were close colleagues and good friends. My wife Lisa referred to Susanne as my work wife. We have a small group of retirees and some still working colleagues who meet for lunch periodically. The last couple of times we met, she was unable to attend. We will sorely miss her whit and occasional snide comment about us. She knew us all like a book.  We miss you girl!
My deepest condolences to the Beck/McHale family.  Susanne was my friend, colleague, collaborator, and mentor for many years.  She led by example and inspired all of us to do our best.  She will be in our hearts forever.

Susanne was a great colleague and person, it was a pleasure and so inspiring working with her in our team, visiting sites and hosting her here in Ascoli. I'll always remember her with that beautiful smile, the same I tried to catch in those pics during a business dinner in China, last year. Rest in peace Susanne.
To Jim and Noltan Beck, Dan and Nancy McHale and the entire McHale and Beck families.  Our deepest sympathy to you all.    Love to all of you.  Jim and Mary Ulett
We wish to express our deepest condolences to Jim and  the whole family. What a lovely person and inspiring colleague I and Giovanni had the pleasure to meet in our life many years ago when she came for some months in Ascoli's sister Company. I will always remember you with a warm smile, Susanne, rest in peace.
I wish to express my condolences to Susanne’s family and loved ones. I enjoyed my time working for Susanne at the ELANTAS Olean facility. She was very intelligent and truly cared for people. I especially enjoyed our Friday “brainstorming” sessions where we would discuss all types of problem issues. I always came away from these discussions with new ideas and renewed energy.
My condolences to the family.  I said a prayer for you today, that God would touch you with His healing hand and give you the comfort and peace you need to get through.
I worked with Susanne my entire career and could always count on her technical knowledge, leadership, mentorship, and friendship. You are all in my prayers.
My deepest condolences to the McHale/Beck family. Susanne was a great leader and someone I looked up to. She always knew the right thing to say and the right questions to ask to help guide you to an answer you were looking for. I aspire to be the kind, thoughtful leader she was. She will truly be missed.
Me prayers and condolences go out to Susanne’s family and friends.

It with my deepest sympathy I extend my condolences to the McHale / Beck family.

Susanne will truly be missed, no matter what she had going on and it was always a lot, she took the time and made you feel your needs were the most important at the time.

She had a unique talent and balanced Professional relationship with friendship. She had the patience and understanding to take the time to really listen and talk through any challenge and somehow it seemed we would come up with a solution. A true LEADER.

I have uncountable memories of kindness, selflessness and laughs I will forever cherish.

I am truly honored not to only have worked for Susanne but more importantly calling her my FRIEND.

Andy Grzechowiak

My deepest condolences to the Beck and McHale families. Susanne was the heartbeat of ELANTAS, and I am sure that she will be missed. Words can't adequately express how much she contributed to us all.

Susanne helped us be our best. Her knowledge of every faction of manufacturing was a great resource whether we were scaling up or troubleshooting. I relied on her expertise and knowledge. We shared a lot of laughs over the human and mechanical foibles that contributed to production issues. As the team would work on solutions, you could tell that she valued each of us and our input.

She was a great leader and wonderful to work with. But she will be remembered most for her heart of gold.
