The spirit of Susi and her beloved husband Jean Perre join us every year over the Christmas holidays because we always use a recipe for cheese fondue that Susi so generously wrote down for me. At this point, the original (probably over 40 years old) is protected by clear contact paper since it had been getting stained by wine and cheese drips. Susi had a real gift for making her guests feel so welcome and special. She was an inspiration for how to be a warm and gracious hostess.
I still think of Susanna very often. She had such a bright spirit and so much love for her family and friends. I remember a funny time with her where she was teaching me how to Twerk. It had us both laughing uncontrollably. It was definitely a memorable moment! She certainly left a mark on my heart and will always be remembered. My love to JP, Nicole and family.
A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts, through us, they live on. We have many memories of our times together, especially when JP and Susi were here just last year at this time. Such a fun time! Susi will be truly missed.
Susanna was a very special person who gave so much to all the people who she knew and loved. We enyoyed coming to your house for your company, wine and of course Susi’s rocelette. I watched both Nicole/Pete and Marc/Val’s wedding and witnessed the pure joy in your mother’s eyes as she rewatched with me and Natalie. All of us were surprised and deeply saddened by her passing. We plan on planting yellow day lilies on our property in memory of Susanna. You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Much love, the Ceva family
Our family will always have a place in our hearts for Susi She was the very first friend I made when we moved to Boonton N J She opened her beautiful home up for many wonderful dinner parties She was a great friend and admired as a wife and mother Our deep regrets and love to JP Marc and Nicole The Paz Family
I am deeply sorry that we lost Susanna. I knew her through yoga classes as Zaanti. She was always dedicated, smiling through pain, and cheering others. She was so brave facing her last challenge. She straddled two worlds, Switzerland and Massachusetts, with ease and grace, and a great love for her family! We will miss her greatly. Rima Sala, yoga teacher at Zaanti, Lenox.
