Background
Susana Lopez Maldonado was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She had a long life, yes...but she suffered so much in the last weeks. She succumbed to ovarian cancer.
She is the reason I am bilingual. She inspired me to work hard and get to where I want to be. She loved me and raised me for many years alongside my mother. She was loved and cared for til her last breath. We are blessed that we are able to cover the funeral home expenses and most of the costs that come with loss of a loved one. Unfortunately we have exhausted the funds that were available. Now we need help to cover the cost of a columbarium. The cost for this is $2000. If we happen to exceed our goal any remaining funds will be given to my mother and my aunt who were caring for my grandmother while she was having hospice at home. I would like to say thanks in advanced. Please feel free to ask questions if necessary. Our family is in mourning and I only ask that people be respectful of that. There will be a celebration of life service this summer and I will keep details updated for those who are interested in attending.
