Sue's obituary

Susan Wolfe , a person filled with warmth, love, and generosity, breathed her last on July 10, 2025. Born on August 1, 1941, her life was a testament to her incredible spirit, marked by an unwavering dedication to her family, a friendly and loving attitude to everyone she met, and an infectious zest for life.

Sue embodied the qualities of a true caregiver, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her legacy, a beautiful tapestry of traditions kept alive and abundant love given to everyone around her, will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate to be part of her life journey.

Sue's family was her world. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Laura Bosworth (Kenneth), and her son Andrew Wolfe (Wendy 2002-2006, Monique). She also was a doting grandmother to her four grandchildren, Sarah Bosworth, Benjamin Kessworth (Hayley), Jesse Bozmano (Lea), and Errol Wolfe, and a proud great-grandmother to Ember Mustard. She also had a strong bond with her sisters. Ruth Ann Moore predeceased Sue on July 3, 2024. Rebecca Coefield continues to hold Sue's love and spirit close to her heart.  Despite her numerous roles, she had a unique bond with each one of them, sharing moments of joy, sorrow, and triumphs, shaping their lives with her wisdom and enduring love.

Sue also loved her large extended family. The "cousins" as everyone was known, this group of family was welcomed into Sue's heart and home. She had family in Ohio and West Virginia who she would visit and remember often. She also had a group of family from Dennis who she valued. These cousins who live in Southern California, mid-California, Costa Rica, Colorado and Georgia were invited every year to Sue's house for a cousin party. She valued the traditions of meeting, spending time together and enjoying each other. She was happy to have her family with her yearly and enjoyed connecting with people throughout the year to celebrate their achievements.

Beyond her familial commitments, Sue held a special interest in the collection and display of Department 56 buildings. Impeccable in her ability to create mesmerizing miniature villages, she evoked awe and admiration from visitors. Her collection was more than a hobby; it was her fascination, an extension of her personality.

Sue also loved animals. She raised numerous dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, hamsters and even the occasional snake. Her final canine companion was Josie the black Labrador who she doted on for 12 years. Sue made multiple friends at her local park when she and Josie would go there to play ball.

Sue also was active in many different ways. An avid gardener, she enjoyed growing many different types of produce which she shared with her family and friends. She also volunteered at Rancho Los Alamitos regularly, where she worked as a docent and provided information tours to the community.

One of Sue's greatest teachings for those fortunate to have known her was to 'Enjoy life to the fullest.' It was a philosophy she lived by and imparted to everyone she interacted with.

A celebration of Sue's remarkable life will be held on October 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Rancho Los Alamitos. The family kindly asks to withhold flowers. Instead, those who wish to honor Sue's memory may consider contributing to the American Heart Association. Donations can be made at the following address: https://everloved.com/life-of….

In Sue's memory, let's strive to live by her ideals, embodying warmth, generosity, and care for others, rejoicing in the beauty of each moment. As we remember Sue, we feel a pang of loss, but also profound gratitude for the privilege of having known such a remarkable woman.
