On Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 Susan Louise Tomei passed away at the age of 59. Susan was born on January 11th, 1960 in Chicago Illinois. Susan endured a lifelong battle with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, her will to survive was inspiring to all of her family and friends. Her greatest passion in life was her children and grandchildren.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother Sally Amadeo (Jackson), father Edward McGlade and brother Lee Amadeo. Susan is survived by her dad Ralph Jr. Amadeo, sisters Julie Braschko (Ray), Marianne Pelini (Joe), Laurie Wasz, brothers Frank Amadeo (Francesca), Ralph Amadeo (Desiree), former spouse Robert Tomei, son Tony Tomei, daughter Tina Patterson (Joseph), her beloved grandchildren Isabella Tomei, Lucas Durrani, Aylssa Patterson, Anthony Patterson, Austin Pattertson. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Susan's wish was to help science understand the causes of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis in the hopes that science can make a difference in other children's lives. She selflessly decided to donate her body to Medcure. A funeral service will be held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church 1313 N. Mill Street Naperville IL, 60563 on Sunday November 17th at 1 p.m. Luncheon to follow at 3 p.m.
