Dear Amanda, I am the oldest of your great Aunt Jodie Pfleger Walker's children. Jodie was Ruth's sister. My mother also had Alzheimer's for many years (around 16 years). It is truly a challenge to watch your mother go through this,  but, like my mother,  your mother had a wonderful personality and was so kind. I will never forget how she was so patient with me and taught me how to ski at Lake Webster. I always loved hearing her proclaim that it was time for a weenie roast. She was a little older than me, but we cousins always had great times together.  Keep her memories close and know that she will always be in your heart.  ❤️
