Susan Louise (Richmond) Zefas, age 79, of Arlington Texas passed away April 29, 2024, after a long illness. She was born in Pekin, Illinois on November 28, 1944, to Charles and Rosamond (Haney) Richmond. She married George Smith in 1970. They divorced in 1983. She moved to Dallas, Texas after her divorce. She married Hal Zefas September 9, 1989. Surviving is her husband, stepchildren Eric, Bethany and Greg; sisters, Beverly Stear of Hanna City, IL, Kathy Richmond (Scott Fosdick) of Evanston, IL, and Rita (Rex) Pogioli of Marquette Heights, IL; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Richmond.

She graduated from Farmington High School, Farmington, IL and Midstate College in Peoria, IL. She retired from Accenture in 2008. She had a beautiful soprano voice and sang at weddings for friends and family. Susan enjoyed macrame, cats, crafting, tending to her flower garden and spending time with friends and family.
