Susan "Suzi" McCurry passed away on July 7, 2024. Born on February 2, 1948, Suzi lived a life that was full of love, care, and deeply rooted in her community and faith.

Suzi was often described as a very caring and loving individual. Her spirit of generosity and empathy touched everyone she encountered. She was a pillar of strength in her community and fervently believed in the power of shared faith. The lessons of community and faith that she imparted to those around her will be remembered and cherished.

Suzi deeply loved her two children, David and Kimberly, and ten grandchildren, Alexis, Jessica, Emma, Elisabeth, Natalie, Christian, Ivy,  Averie, Kaytlin, and Ezekiel.  She gave selflessly of her time and resources to support her children and grandchildren.  Many have wonderful memories of playing card games and board games with Suzi, where she would often use her intellect to crush all other players.

A Memorial service to honor and celebrate Suzi's life will be held on August 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM. The service will be conducted at McHenry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. The family invites you to join them in paying your respects and sharing your memories of Suzi.
