Susan Lynne Escoto, 65, was called home on March 11, 2020 at her home in Alameda. She was born to the late Jay Sims and Betty Allen, June 5, 1954, in Oakland, CA.
She married the late Henry Escoto in 1971. Susan is survived by her 2 children, Mark Escoto and Gina Escoto MacFadden and son in law Steve MacFadden. Also 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Sarah, Christian and Olivia Escoto and 1 great grandchild Adelynn Escoto. Susan is also survived by her sister Kim Bailey, brother in law Greg, 2 nieces Michelle and Alyssa. Susan also left behind many in laws and nieces and nephews and even great nieces and nephews. Susan was predeceased by her husband Henry in 2003 and her grandson Steven MacFadden Jr. in 2015.
She was known to most as Sue, Susie or Susie Q and anyone that knew her knew her love for her cats. She had 3 cats, Patitas, Buster and D boy plus the many strays she would leave food out for. She had a weak spot for animals and the need to take care of them. She also had a skill of crocheting and made many blankets, booties and scarfs.
