Susan was born on August 31, 1956 to Edward and Sue Belle Childs in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from Marlborough High School in 1974, she continued her studies at Loyola Marymount University before completing her bachelor's degree at Santa Clara University.
Acting was a first love and she pursued a career on the stage throughout her formative years. …
