Darnisha Boyd
2025, Prince Frederick, MD, USA
Hello everyone, my name is Darnisha aka”Dee”.I was Susan’s caregiver from August 26,2024-June 3,2025. The first day meeting Susan was definitely a challenge because   Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect from her walking into her home. I just knew that she was someone that needed someone to care for her daily needs.Susan wasn’t quite sure about having someone in her personal space but as time went on, we  built a beautiful friendship. She was like a second mother to me. She had my back like no other. I could call her just to vent. She could call me and vent and tell me about how crazy her day was going, but by the end of the conversation, me and her both forgot about our problems. Susan was such a great loving person. She took my daughter in and called her the little granddaughter she never had. Susan face many of challenges With her mental health, physical health within  these last few months. There were so many different things going on with her and we used to just joke around and say that she was just a science project that was inside joke that we made when we couldn’t figure out what to do next. I’m truly gonna miss her calling me every morning saying Dee Sweet pea  and peanut are waiting for you. Susan will be truly missed by many she cherished all of your friendships and everything that someone  had did for her through  out her life .She would tell me stories about her different friendships and different hardships that she faced throughout her life, but she said she never stopped believing that she could help someone. “Our last conversation was Dee Don’t stop fighting for what you wanna do if you can help someone do it “. Things could be a lot worse.  I know that I’m gonna be OK I’m gonna keep pushing through like she would want me to do. Susan will be truly missed . I will always love you my delicate butterfly as I used to call her.
