Surekha Sheth of Naperville, Illinois, passed away on June 29, 2021 after a nine-month battle with metastatic ovarian cancer.
Surekha was born on April 10, 1953, to Pushpa and Babulal Shah in Mombasa, Kenya. She spent most of her childhood and early teen years in Mombasa before moving to London, England for further studies and work.
