七律 引子

四十年前一令呼，莘莘学子下乡途。
纤腰滑掌原稚嫩，茧膀皮纹变老粗。
脚踏田泥朝种作，心思宇宙暮攻书。
花开堪折谁来折，俱作评章陟否殊。


清平乐 掠影 （一）

时间是宝，“双夏”挑秧早。
担重天昏田埂倒，惨过期终大考。
回家做饭烟熏，薯圈胜似馄饨。
膳后忙张“虾仔”，“松岗”眺望飞云。


清平乐 掠影 （二）

锄禾日午，不抵蒸笼土，
哪得清凉书第府，咋得消磨此苦？
呻吟抱恙糊迷，黄昏僻处偷鸡。
最酷稼轩办法，畛边听取蛙啼。


清平乐 掠影 （三）

牛郎织女，鸡犬声闻处。
鹊懒姗姗桥隔阻，恰似界河汉楚。
有情却是无情，徒留脉脉盈盈。
最受“知青”所苦，金风玉露难成。

From one of Uncle’a friend in China.

悼念挚友黄燊耀

接到燊耀的噩耗,震惊,无比沉痛!

我与燊耀相识已55年。我们不仅仅是校友,还是战友和农友,且是邻居。中学年代,他就住在我家对面,中间隔着一条20米不到的马路，站在我家二楼的窗台，就可看到街边他的房子，看到他在敞开的大木门外的身影，亲切的打上个招呼。

上个世纪60年代停课的那几年，我们几乎是日日夜夜呆在一起，度过了惊心动魄、生死与共，后来又让人懊悔不已的日子,我们一直都是最铁杆的兄弟。

当知青，在乡下劳动的日子，他刻苦耐劳，抢着干最繁重的农活，有时真到了拼命的地步---他，作为一个在城市长大的学生仔，不愿被土生土长的农民兄弟看轻。在人生最艰难的时刻，看不到任何前途，日间做了繁重的体力活，夜间他仍坚持收听英语广播，学习英语，而收听用的收音机还是自制土造的。当时他虽身如草贱，仍不忘学习，为未来默默地努力着,他是一个有长远眼光的人。

他，有眼光，有信仰；他心胸敦厚，正直善良；他与人为善，平易近人，无论是知青之间，还是与农民兄弟，他都毫无间隔，深得大家喜爱。

前几年，他回到汕头，与大家恢复了联系，受到大家的欢迎与接待。这时，我看到他编写的《词韵荟萃》，才知道他诗词的底蕴,这是令我惊讶的，可见他的聪明与好学。

正当我们都为他找到情投意合的伴侣而祝贺、而欢呼之时，传来了他突发意外的消息，我们心痛，都在为他默默的祈祷，希望他还能够能康复。

回忆燊耀的一生，过往一切历历在目，倍感珍惜。此时此刻，我们只能祝愿勤劳、睿智、好学的挚友，一路走好，安息主怀。

I met Morris while at college in Vancouver, some 40 years ago. He is the funniest and kindest person I know, making friends laugh all the time. My mathematics assessments would never have passed without his help. Fond memories of Morris will always remain with me. My condolences to his family, and thanks to Nerissa Kam for letting me know the news. - Dick Chan at Hong Kong

Our deepest condolences to Grace and Aaron and the Hwang family.
Your dad's smiles and joy singing in our Church choir will always be
remembered. We will miss him, only for temporary because we will meet again when Jesus returns. May God's comfort and love be with you all.

Morris was a good Christendom, a good Father, a good Business man, and a good Friend.
He showed Christian characters,
He reflected Christ’s lights in his daily life.
He deeply loved his children,
He took great care of them and respected them.
His Sunny Market serviced the community sincerely,
He was generous, honest, integrity and received people’s respect.
He loved friends, respected them and
liked to discuss his view of mind with them.
He brought friends to God’s church,
He gave me a Bible with his dedication.
He is person whom we all respect,
He is the one whom we always remember!

Grace&Aaron, you are proud of your father!

如果不到陆丰上陈插隊，我们不会是一家人；
如果在上陈不那么拼命，或许不会得风湿病；
如果风湿病得到及时有效治疗，或许风湿性心脏病就不会发生或加重， 成为祸根；
如果没有出国，就不会在海外拼搏几十年，历尽沧桑，方显英雄本色；
如果您不在温哥华，就不会柱着助力拐引领我们穿越原始森林，观看窄海湾漩涡美景；
如果您缺席南澳下乡50周年纪念活动，大会一定沒有那么深情热烈；
一切仿佛还在昨天，如果没有疫情，您还会频繁来汕，您酷爱的《词韵荟萃》正等您确认准备印刷，在汕親人正翘首以盼 ！……
天堂若有微信，您能看到众多农友的深情怀念和痛惜！
