Suleiman's obituary
Suleiman was born on December 31,1933 in Huson, Jordan to Farhan and (Eideh Swaidan) Bawwab.
At the age of 17, he joined the Jordanian Army serving his country for 25 years. In April, 1957 he married Najla Bawwab. Together they raised three sons, Sameer, Samer, Sameh, and one daughter, Sana. Sulieman dedicated his life to serving his country, his church, his family and his community. He was known as a loving and humble man with a big heart, strong faith and hard working. He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, his faith, his wisdom and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Suleiman was preceded in his death by his father, Farhan, his mother, Eideh, his brother, Fareed and his grandson Tha’er. He is survived by his wife Najla, his four children, Sameer and his wife Nabila, Samer, Sameh and his wife Nancy, and Sana, as well as several grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at the Church of St. Mary on South Broadway in Yonkers at 10:00 a.m.
Burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery
